Description: Pikachu are short, yellow, and have big black eyes. They have two brown stripes along their backs. Their little round red cheeks are their electric sacks, where their electric powers are generated.Their tails are zig-zagged (like a thunderbolt).

Temperment on the game: The pikachu on the game (red and blue) are normally well tempered and like most pokemon, pikachu will rarely disobey you if you have the experience.

Temperment on the show: Since the pikachu on the show is one particular pikachu this allows more character development. This is Ash's pikachu. According to the Den-Geki Pikachu Japanese Manga, Pikachu is a boy. In the episode, "Pikachu's Goodbye" also known as "Pikachu Forest" Ash's pikachu meets a little pikachu that welcomes it into the colony of pikachu. On the manga Ash's pikachu meets a young girl Pikachu......how do I know this if it was in Japanese? Well, this pikachu has a daisy in her hair!......

This Pikachu does not like to go into the pokeball....

This is only on the show and the Japanese yellow version of the Game.

The pikachu on the show is stubborn and a little cowardly, but when needed he is brave, willing and proud. He is a cute and loving Pokemon, able to make many friends! Maybe this is why he is so popular! The bond between Ash and his Pikachu is an example of friendship and teamwork for all people and pokemon trainers to follow.
